Power Is In The Present

Power is in the present. If you’re always waiting for “the right time,” you’ll never act.

I couldn’t begin to count how many times I’ve told myself, “I’m waiting for the right time.”

The right time to talk to my manager about an abusive coworker.

The right time to start writing my book.

The right time to start my consulting business.

All three of these took me months or years to go from inception to reality.

Waiting for “the right time” is a great way to avoid risks, hide our discomfort, and delay making big decisions.

The present is where we make decisions, where growth happens, and where progress starts.

Stop fixating on yesterday’s regrets or worrying about tomorrow’s what-ifs.

👉 What’s one action you’ve been putting off that you can take today?
